ODI Match Awards received by Sachin Tendulkar

Tendulkar has won a record 15 Man of the Series(MoS) and (60 Man of the Match(MoM) awards in ODI Matches He has the distinction of having won MoM Award against all ICC Full Members (Test Playing Nations). UAE (2 Matches), Netherlands (1 Match) and Bermuda (1 match) are the only teams against whom he has not won a Man of the Match Award in ODI Cricket.
Tendulkar has won a world record of most ODI MoS awards over his year's career.

  1. In August 2003, Sachin Tendulkar was voted as the "Greatest Sportsman" of the country in the sport personalities category in the Best of India poll conducted by Zee News.
  2. In November 2006, Time magazine named Tendulkar as one of the Asian Heroes.
  3. In December 2006, he was named "Sports person of the Year"
  4. The current India Poised campaign run by The Times of India has nominated him as the Face of New India next to the likes of Amartya Sen and Mahatma Gandhi among others.
